Overview: This statewide survey served as a follow-up to its predecessor completed in January 2012. This poll helped collect voters’ preferences on issues such as California’s budget deficit, tax increase initiatives, public spending, and satisfaction with President Obama and Governor Brown. This poll proved particularly insightful in assessing how the first quarter of 2012 affected voters’ attitudes towards the government and the direction of the state.
